Almost any cartridge can be recycled successfully. We reduce our chances of success by continuing to print with a cartridge that is struggling to produce output as it runs out of ink, or by leaving a cartridge print head exposed to air and the elements for an extended period of time. The home recycler can produce results as professional as those who make a living at recycling by using quality inks, proper tools, and refilling the cartridge BEFORE it runs out of ink.

My 950 printer keeps saying I'm out of ink when I use my refilled cartridge.

The 51645 cartridge doesn't print and drops globs of ink on the paper when I try to print. This is a sign of improper vacuum setting. Place the cartridge into the Snap and Fill45 tool and draw out approx 2 cc's of ink

The 51645 cartridge leaks ink out the sides. Oops! Best guess is that the inner foil bag got punctured.

When I refill my C6578 (6625, 1823, 51641) It prints for a few pages, and then stops.

I refilled my C6578 (6625, 1823, 51641) but it only prints 2 colors

Do I need to plug the holes I opened to fill my C6578 (6625, 1823, 51641) The holes are breather holes and do not need to be filled. We plug them for cosmetic reasons only. You may purchase plugs, or cover them with tape as long as you puncture a small hole in each chamber to allow the cartridge to breathe.
