  These units provide a very low cost alternative to the high priced vacuum fill machines being produced by nearly every equipment manufacturer. Using low cost, readily available quality parts you can maintain your own Inkjet Vacuum Filling Unit. The mechanics are made up of medical quality luer fittings, syringes, tubing and Vacuum canister.  click photo for larger display The VF-2 is the first in our line of vacuum fill kits that fill the syringes by a direct connection to the ink source. Simply pull back on the plunger to fill the syringe with the desired amount of ink. Add vacuum either with an optional electric pump or an optional handvac, then open the stopcocks to allow the ink to flow into the cartridge. Easy flow bottles (3-2oz, 1-4oz) are standard. No ink is included. Replacement canisters are inexpensive, and a vacuum is easily created using the optional handvac shown below.

Normally the bottles, as shown above, are kept together through the use of a rubber band. This wooden bottle caddy holds 1-4oz bottle and 3-2oz bottles for easy, stable use. (Bottles not included)

Canister to Vacuum Pump Adapter The brass fittings shown to the left are not included in the package. The size of the fitting varies according to pump manufacturer, and can be purchased at most hardware stores once you have selected your pump. Our kit includes the hose and luer fittings needed to hook up most pumps to our vacuum canisters. We include 1/4" tubing, 3/16" tubing, 1/8" tubing, 1/4" male luer, and 1/8" female and male luers.
