Having read about you in one of my pc magazines, I print anything I find interesting. I can take it downstairs and read it on the couch or take it to bed and read before turning out the lights. Woo-hoooo! It came already--and it WORKED!

I was dismayed that Epson (or any manufacturers?) did not see fit to disclose the tendency to clog or the need for preventive
maintenance--they gave me a choice of $150/hr service (across the state) or a new printer (could replace my $400 Stylus 800 with
an $80 Stylus 880. . . sickening what 3 years can do to prices!) Thankfully, I was too cheap to dive right into that, and researched
enough to find your option.

I only wish I'd thought ahead and gotten the kit for cleaning both color and black--but you can be certain I'll return for supplies! $27 for a cartridge. . . harumpf!

 Being a skinflint, I love to save money. My Epson Inkjet Stylus Photo 700  uses cartridges that cost $25 to $27 each at Office Max, Office Depot, etc.

I found a website where they sell compatible cartridges for about half the 
retail cost. And, their shipping cost is $3.20, period. I just ordered a 
couple of color cartridges at $11.95 each + $3.20 postage. They took my 
order on October 25, 1999, and I received the cartridges on October 27th, Priority Mail (the exact cost by the postoffice is $3.20 for priority mail).

Within one-half hour of my ordering through the computer, I received an 
e-mail acknowledging the order and telling me that the order would be shipped within the hour. They take credit cards, money orders and checks. The guy who handled my order and sent me the acknowledging e-mail was Michael Kay.

The web site is www.inkjetsaver.com and the name of the company is, 
CompuBiz Inkjet.

My only reason for sending you this e-mail is because I enjoy saving money  and like dealing with people who are efficient and do exactly what they say  they will do.
