Recycling The Lexmark 10N0026 Color Cartridge
Lexmark Z13, Z23, Z25, Z33,

lexmark 10n0026  To gain access to the sponge material that holds the ink you must remove the top. The color cap is easier to remove than the black. In the photo on the left, we carefully slide a knife between the cartridge and the cap and slowly break the bond of the glue. It may be necessary to slide the knife completely around the cartridge. Note the direction the cap is pointing before you remove it, as it will fit back on facing either direction.
The fill holes, and the color to inject are shown to the right for yellow, Magenta and cyan. You can probably look into the holes and see color in your cartridge. To further clarify location, the yellow fill hole is over the print head. Your kit includes 3 syringes. Load each with 3 cc’s of the proper color and inject the ink into the proper holes. Inject the ink VERY slowly. Stop immediately if the ink swells out the fill holes. Replace the cap when finished. Any remaining ink can be put back in the bottle. Clean and dry the syringes and needles
That is all there is to it. The cartridge will recycle up to 20 times if properly cared for. To insure quality refills simply follow these guidelines:
Start with a clean, quality cartridge that has just been removed from your printer. Do not expect a dried cartridge to recycle as well—if at all.
Never continue to print after the printer shows you are low on ink. Continuing to print will over heat the sensitive jets and they will burn out. This shows as white stripes in your print out.
Clean and dry the tools included with your kit.
Dried print heads can be cleaned by placing the print head in 1/8” of hot water. 1/8” only. Any deeper and the water will make it’s way into the ink reservoir and dilute your ink.
